11 mile Fridays

Ye Olde Pizza - the greatest thing around!  Seriously.. it is amazing.  If I hadn't had it the last two nights for dinner, I would consider doing it again tonight!

This morning started off very early at 3:42am.  Jett and I were up and moving and in the car by 3:55am.  I had big plans for this morning, running 11 miles before 6:30 am and I have a 27 mile commute to work and where I workout at, so we were up and moving very early.  Jett likes to wake up early and slap at me to feed him anyways, so we get up early but today took the cake.

My cousin started her miles at the time I left the house but she lives three hours away, so she finished earlier then I did and about 7 minutes faster...she is killing it! But here it is and it is done! We run on treadmills right now because of weather and convenience (and secretly I think we both like it better, its a mindset thing).  Here is my 11 miles tracked from this morning, sloppy and hard to read but they are done!

And now I am going to enjoy my Friday with my exciting kiddos at school and then Friday night with my amazing boyfriend.  Bring on the weekend too!  My sister is in to town coaching her Community College softball team.  They are incredibly good and I am pumped to watch.  Life is good :)

I am Kateeee

Hi all! I am Kate! A Special Education teacher (I teach a high school Behavior Room) in Oregon and I love my boyfriend, family, friends and dog! I am a retired college Softball player and am a pretty big fan of the Utah State Aggies (where I went to school).  I am teaching, going to grad school, training for a half marathon in April and loving life!

I admire my sister tremendously and think she is amazing.

You will read a lot of about my boyfriend too, he is the best..I am a lucky girl!

I am obsessed with the way the sun looks in the sky over here and what it does to the clouds - so be prepared to see lots of those pictures - and I love my pup! Jett - also, be prepared for lots of pictures of him.

I also on a quest to lose some lbs and get more fit..big plans for this summer (running Hood to Coast)

My cousin and I are using the same training program, and today we ran 6 "easy" miles (when is six miles ever easy?) and did 4 added on sprints which puts us around 6.6 for the day.  Our long day will be Friday this week..bring it on 11 miles at 4am (I think we are crazy)

This was last week.
